Australian Independent Retailer of the Year
Nominations now closed
The Australian Independent Retailer of the Year award recognises and rewards owner operaters of successful single store businesses which make a real impact on their community and stand out in their retail category.
The winner of this category exemplifies how independent retailers use business nous and community relationships to thrive among big players in a highly competitive environment.
Australian Independent Retailer of the Year nominations will be accepted from local governments, Business Enterprise Centres (BECs), Retail Traders Associations (RTAs) and Chambers of Commerce across the country who would like to showcase their best performing retailer on a national stage. ARA Members can also self nominate for Australian Independent Retailer of the Year.
The Australian Independent Retailer of the Year will be awarded in each state. State winners are automatically shortlisted for the national Australian Independent Retailer of the Year Award.
State winners will be announced in August 2010 and go on to compete for the National titile at Retail 2010 Exhibition and Conference in Sydney between 20-22 September 2010.
